Community Roots
Supporting Our Communities
At ETS, our purpose is clear: working together to make communities safer. With operations spanning communities across Australia, we take pride in giving back to the regions where we live and work. Through meaningful charity partnerships, local sponsorships, and active industry engagement, we’re committed to supporting the people and places that support us. Whether it’s contributing to grassroots initiatives or championing national causes, we believe in making a positive impact, locally and nationally.
Workplace Giving
We are proud to give back to the communities we work in and care about. Through our Workplace Giving Program, our team members have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by contributing to a selection of charities. This initiative empowers our people to support causes they’re passionate about. It’s one of the many ways we come together as a team to support those in need.
Community Sponsorships
At ETS, we believe in supporting the communities and industries that support us. Our sponsorships focus on initiatives that align with our values, promoting safety, sustainability, education, and community wellbeing. We’re proud to stand behind a range of local and national events, programs, and organisations that make a genuine impact.
As an active member of the arboriculture industry, ETS is a proud sponsor of Arboriculture Australia, reinforcing our commitment to professional standards and the growth of our sector.
For all community sponsorship requests, please email marketing@ets.com.au.

Brenton Morrison
Electrical Leading Hand – Bundaberg, QLD
I started with ETS in November 2021. My role is pretty varied, I could be exchanging electricity meters, supporting our team with technical questions, or auditing completed work as part of our quality control across the state. What I enjoy most is the culture within our meter services team, from the field crews to management, and the flexibility and variety in my work. For me, making communities safer means doing every job to the highest standard and making sure we call out any dangerous or defective equipment to keep customers and the wider community safe. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and riding motorbikes.
Sandi Willitt
General Manager People & Culture – Yandina, QLD
I started with ETS in January 2009 as the Office Manager at our old Nambour office. Since then, I’ve moved through a few roles, from QLD Admin Coordinator to Human Resources Manager in 2013, and now General Manager People & Culture. It’s been a journey full of memorable moments and amazing places around Australia. A recent standout was boogie boarding down a hill in the dark with John Wallace during our Executive Team Christmas catch-up and not falling off! Outside of work, I enjoy training at the gym, watching V8 racing, and spending time on our acreage with my three alpacas: Dave, Macca and Ernie.
Michael Longland
Operations Manager, Metering – Narangba, QLD
I started with ETS in August 2018, initially supporting meter reading operations. Since then, my role has grown to include leading operations across our broader metering team. My day usually starts with a team check-in to stay connected, spot any challenges, and make sure everyone feels supported. What I love about ETS is the opportunity to grow and work with passionate people in a truly collaborative environment. The flexibility also helps me keep a healthy balance between work and life. Outside of work, I enjoy time with family and friends, getting outdoors—and the occasional Talisker.
Rob Deerson
Fleet Service Manager – Bayswater, VIC
I joined ETS in 2020, starting in Tasmania before moving to Victoria. My role has grown with major contract changes, expanding from a small crew to supporting multiple large-scale contracts. Each day starts early and is packed, coordinating workshop operations, supporting the team, and getting hands-on when needed. No two days are the same! What I enjoy most about ETS is the people. Across the business, everyone’s friendly, helpful, and often pretty entertaining. Outside of work, I play guitar, ride my dirt bike, work on my project car, make wine, and dig for gold nuggets (still waiting to find one!).
Sam Rushworth
WA State Manager – Perth, WA
I started with ETS in May 2016 on the crews as an EWP operator and climber. I then moved through roles as Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Contracts Manager before stepping into my current role as State Manager. I’m mostly office-based now, but still head out for safety visits, quoting, or transmission assessments and enjoy checking in with our Esperance and Albany teams.
ETS has always supported my growth. I’m proud of the role our WA team plays in reducing bushfire risks by managing vegetation around the network. Outside of work, I’m into 4WDing, camping, and time with my family. I also enjoy watching the Sydney Roosters and cheering on NSW in State of Origin.
